The line 42 stops in front of the police station

The line 42 stops in front of the police station” (for field recordings, zither, spoken word and electronics) is a performance of a bus journey into the past, when the suburb was still a different country and
another language. The Hungarian-speaking village of Baciu was swallowed up by my home town,
Cluj-Napoca. The former commuters have become normal city dwellers. The 42 bus was the link between the countryside and the city, between Hungary and Romania, and for me between childhood and adulthood.

Thank you to Janine Eisenächer for inviting me to Anima Mundi #5 at the Johanniskirche in Eberswalde and to Bartosz Novak for the invitation to MOS in Gorzow, Poland.
